Wobbly beagle

My normally bouncing Bruno (beagle, 9 years old) has been a bit wobbly on his walks lately. Back legs seem to be the issue, sometimes giving way or just looking a little uncoordinated. He hasn’t lost his appetite or energy otherwise, but it’s worrying me.
Anyone else been through this? Is it just normal old-dog stuff or something more? Hoping to avoid the vet if it’s a common beagle thing, but definitely making an appointment if it gets worse. TIA!
